* The Universal Handel Provides the flexibility
to vary the width of the donor strips with the purchase a
single handle along with an assortment of spacer pieces.
* Straight handle is commonly used to make
multiple stab wound recipient sites with a single motion.
* Angled handle staggers the tips of the scalpel
blades to conform more accurately with the curvature of the
donor area scalp.
* Maximum width the handle will accommodate is 12
mm.
* Uses standard

Brandy Scalpel Handles
In the brandy Multiple Scalpel Handles, the
blades are staggered 3.0mm in depth from the right to the
left. This stagger will compensate for the curvature of the
scalp and allow all of the blades to make even contact with
the scalp. The surgeon can then angle the cut to correctly
remove the strip without transecting the hair follicles.
The Quadruple Handle will cut 3 strips. The Triple Handle will
cut two strips.
Advantages of this method
* Significant time savings in harvesting mini and
micrografts.
* Healing is better at the donor site, there are
no ragged edges as there are with conventional harvesting.
* Rectangular shape minigrafts fit better into
stab wound recipient sites.
* No donor hair wasted.
* Use standard #10 or #15 scalpel blades.
